Annette Gäßler is a business focused health manager and occupational physician with a strong outcome approach. Proven track record in driving innovation in health management based on demographic change, ergonomic work conditions and enhanced employability of each employee.

Annette Gäßler has been a board member of the Professional Organization for Specialists in Occupational Medicine in Germany (VDBW) from 1999 until 2007. The focus of her work was linked to Workplace Health Promotion and Disability Management. From 2007 until 2013 she was the treasurer for the Section of Occupational Medicine of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) in Brussels.
Career History
Studied medicine in Hamburg with stays abroad in Austria, USA and New Zealand. Clinical work in Hamburg since 1984. In 1991 she switched to occupational medicine at Airbus. After various positions, she took overall responsibility for the company medical service and health management for all German Airbus locations and reporting to the Human Resources Director.
In 2012 she switched to the sustainability department of a large German manufacturing family business in Heidenheim (Voith). Part-time 2012 – 2014 M.B.A Healthcare Management at the Deggendorf University of Technology, Faculty of Business Administration and Business Information Technology. 2016 Strategic competence for women on supervisory boards, University of Economics and Law, Berlin.
Currently occupational health practitioner at TÜV Rheinland. Freelance work as a systemic business coach and lecturer e.g. for the training of occupational health practitioner and human resources management, WINGS distance study, Wismar.
